LFA: Get It Right-Common Sense on Common Core

Earlier today, the Learning First Alliance -- the national coalition of major k-12 public education stakeholder organizations-- issued this statement in support of providing time and resources for Common Core State Standards (CCSS) implementation before assessing progress with high stakes testing was released and the new web landing page on the LFA web site launched.  A similar statement was originally released last May, however, given the pushback against the standards in many states and the poor implementation in many places, LFA member organizations wanted to reiterate the importance of implementing the standards correctly in order to achieve student success.  To that end, LFA has launch a new site at the following link:
