Summer training available for UniServ pre-employment

Are you committed to the cause of public education employees and to the mission of MEA? Are you skilled in membership recruitment and engagement? relational development? problem solving? leadership?

Then you should be attending the UniServ Pre-Employment Development Summer Training Program being offered July 8-18. The training is designed for the development and training of members and leaders who have the potential to become UniServ staff in a new and changing environment.

In the past, candidates were committed to a year-long UniServ Intern Program which required them to be released for the entire school year. Now, the program involves a 10-day intensive training and mentoring experience which emphasizes personal and professional development in the areas of organizational knowledge, job skills and personal attitude.

Applications must be completed and returned to Mary Phillips at MEA Field Services Division, Michigan Education Association, 1216 Kendale Blvd., P.O. Box 2573, East Lansing, MI 48826-2573 by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2014.
