LPA gives local leaders needed support, training so locals and members thrive
Strong, active local associations all seem to have one thing in common—well-trained presidents who have the resources, training and time necessary to do the jobs for which there were elected.
The Local President Presidents Academy (LPA) provides a year-long opportunity for leadership experiences focused on strengthening local associations and member engagement.
The LPA is designed for all local presidents—new and experienced, EA, ESP and higher education—regardless of whether they have release time or not. All academy-related expenses will be paid. Only leaders in good standing are eligible.
There’s room for 25 candidates in LPS. No applications will be considered if eligibility requirements are not met or if any part of the application is incomplete. All applications must be received by Monday, June 2.
