MEA launches ‘Voices from the Front Lines’ website to collect policy ideas from school employees
At a time when Lansing politicians are considering numerous “reforms” affecting public education, people need to hear from school employees. After all, Michigan teachers and education support professionals are on the front lines of education, making them the state’s leading experts on education policy.
That’s why MEA has launched “Voices from the Front Lines.” This new project will collect thoughts from teachers and education support professionals on prominent education policy topics to share with policymakers, legislators, experts, media and the general public.
Please visit the Voices from the Front Lines website to share your thoughts on critical issues like school safety, early childhood education, curriculum flexibility, vocational/agricultural/technical education, education reform and education funding.
It’s time to speak out of the education issues facing our state. The voices of teachers and education support professionals must be heard!
