‘Kids Not CEOs’ video is a hit!
Just two weeks after its launch, www.KidsNotCEOs.com is a smash hit.
More than 16,000 people have visited the website to learn more about how Republicans in Lansing cut our schools so they could pay for a $1.8 billion tax break to rich CEOs and corporate special interests. Members and parents are submitting stories every day on how the cuts have affected them, their children and their communities.
The accompanying “Kids Not CEOs” video has racked up more than 20,000 hits on YouTube. It’s being emailed between friends, shared on social networking sites and written about in the news media. If you haven’t seen the video yet, head to www.KidsNotCEOs.com to watch it. Make sure to get the word out and share the video with your friends, family and colleagues.
Finally, a 30-second version of the video is now playing in TV markets throughout the state. Much like with the website and YouTube video, the goal with the TV ad is to spread the message that Michigan citizens from all walks of life have had enough of rich CEOs getting all the breaks at the expense of kids, parents, teachers and school employees.
Please take a moment to visit www.KidsNotCEOS.com. Make sure you submit your story of how you, your students and your family have been affected by this corporate tax break. And most importantly—take action.
