Make your voice heard -- come to Lansing Wednesday
Politicians are unfairly exploiting Michigan's economic crisis to attack students, seniors, and working families. Join us Wednesday to fight back and let the politicians know that We Are the People, and it's time to start protecting the middle class -- not the CEOs.
Thousands of supporters of Michigan's middle class are expected at the Capitol Wednesday -- will you be among them?
Events will run from 1 to 6:30 p.m., with the first program kicking off at 2 p.m. A second program at 5:30 p.m. will give more MEA members a chance to travel to Lansing and show their solidarity when it comes to attacks on public education and the middle class.
Speakers will talk about the impact Gov. Rick Snyder's proposed education budget cuts will have on students, communities, and the middle class.
