National Opportunity to Learn Campaign comes to Lansing Nov. 15

Mark your calendars for Tues., Nov. 15 when the National Opportunity to Learn Campaign (OTL) will be at the Radisson Hotel in Lansing to discuss the basic principles required to provide meaningful education to all of Michigan’s children. The program runs from 9 a.m. to noon. You can RSVP at .

The OTL is a national movement to create a stronger, more prosperous America by closing the opportunity gap in public education. The campaign connects advocates across the country to ensure every child has the right to a high-quality education. OTL holds the nation’s officials and education leaders accountable for providing high-quality early childhood education, highly prepared and effective teachers, a college prep curriculum and equitable instruction materials and policies.

The Nov. 15 OTL program will feature Dr. John Jackson, President and CEO of the Schott Foundation for Public Education; Tina Dove, OTL Campaign Director; and Karen Royster, Executive Director of the Institute for Wisconsin’s Future.
