NEA Foundation Grants available

The NEA Foundation has introduced a web-based application process for grants to support public school educator's ideas to improve teaching and learning. The grants are available to K-12 teachers in their subject area expertise. The first deadline is Oct. 15. View the application.

A Student Achievement Grant can be used to improve student achievement in K-12 and higher education institutions. The $5,000 grant will fund work that engages students in critical thinking and problem solving that deepens their knowledge in a particular subject area.

A Learning and Leadership Grant is available for public education support professionals, and faculty or staff. Individual grants of $2,000 fund participation in high-quality professional development and $5,000 grants to groups fund college study.
