CMU ranked first in online bachelor’s programs; third in education master’s

According to a U.S. News & World Report which ranked the best online programs of 2014, Central Michigan University (CMU) ranked first in online bachelor’s programs and tied for third for its education master’s program. Its online graduate business program ranked 17th. Last year, Central was number 39 in the online bachelor’s rankings.

CMU has more than 10,000 students enrolled in online classes each year. Some students are full-time online and others use online classes to supplement face-to-face classes.

 Michigan Technological University’s online graduate programs in business and engineering were also ranked. Tech’s online graduate engineering program was rated 35 out of 74 programs and its online MBA program placed 36 out of 239 programs.
