NEA Hosts Fireside Chat with Dr. Fauci

UPDATE: You can watch a recording and read a recap of the event with Dr. Fauci here.

NEA and AFT are hosting a national “fireside chat” with Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the leading experts on the American response to the COVID-19 pandemic, on Thursday, Jan. 28 at 6 p.m.

NEA President Becky Pringle and AFT President Randi Weingarten will join Dr. Fauci for this important conversation about the current state of the coronavirus pandemic and what the Biden-Harris Administration is doing to control the disease’s spread.

Fauci serves as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, as well as chief medical adviser to the Biden administration.

As a science teacher, NEA’s Pringle has continued to stress the importance of listening to science so that we are ensuring the safe and just return to in-person learning is led by data—not politics.

Please RSVP now, including the option to share a question you’d like to have Dr. Fauci answer.
