Sign up today for latest round of MEA social justice book studies

A new round of SCECH-eligible virtual book studies is now open for member signups!  Brought to you by MEA’s Center for Leadership & Learning, these five-week online group discussions center on two important books to help educators improve their skills as advocates for social and racial justice for our students and our society:

  • “White Fragility” by Robin DiAngelo – Two sessions (Monday or Thursdays from 7-8:15 p.m) starting week of April 12 – Register by April 7
  • “How to Be An Antiracist” by Ibram X. Kendi – One session (Mondays from 7-8:15 p.m.) starting March 29 – SESSION FULL

If you can’t make this round of book studies or if sessions fill up before you get a chance to sign up, be sure to put your name on a waiting list for future book studies (you’ll be contacted via email about signing up before the sessions are opened for registration to other members).

  1. I am looking to verify that I am registered for this PD – I am trying to attend the MONDAY session that will be led by Jennifer Lenardon. Is there a way to confirm that I am all set for the first session (Mondays for “White Fragility?”
